6 Months

Scott took Sammy to her 6 months well child check today. She weighs 13 lbs 11 oz (10%) and is 25" tall (25%). At this age, her brother weighed 15 lbs 9 oz and was also 25" tall. Between the shots and a poor morning nap (the appointment was during her morning nap), she had a rough day.

Look who's 6 months old!

Today is Sammy's 6 month birthday! This was a month of a lot of firsts.

She found her feet! As with all new things, she likes to put them in her mouth.

She is close to sitting up on her own.

We started cereal this week. She loves it! She does get a bit frustrated when her tongue pushes the food out instead of in, but she's learning.

Sammy is quickly mastering the jumper.

Andy's New Glasses

A couple of weeks ago, at Andy's first eye exam, we learned that he needed glasses. They arrived yesterday. Not the most exciting development and getting him to actually wear the glasses has been a challenge. Oh well, if it helps him read, it's worth it. I'm not looking forward to the first time we lose them, but I know it's coming!

Andy Turns Three!

Andy turned three on Sunday. We celebrated the occasion with the second annual trip to Union Station to see the enormous model train display. This was followed by lunch at Fritz's where the overhead train delivered our food.

This is how Sammy spent the day!
