Last weekend, Scott and I took a quick trip to Vancouver, BC for a few kid free days. We have wanted to visit Vancouver since we lived in SLC and enjoyed exploring the city. The highlight for me was the 5 hour bike tour around Stanley Park and False Creek with a stop at The Market on Granville Island. Scott would undoubtedly vote for the Pearl Jam concert on Sunday night, which was part of the reason we chose Vancouver for this trip.

Hat Parade

Last Friday we were treated to a Hat Parade by the three Trailwood Kindergarten classes. The kids each designed their own hat. The parade route progressed down the hall weaving through each classroom. Sammy, as always, was very excited to see her brother and insisted on following Andy's class through the school.

Over the weekend, we made the detoured trip to Omaha for Jennifer and Kourt's wedding. It was a beautiful wedding and the kids had a great time dancing at the reception!

First Day of Preschool

Last week Sammy started Preschool at Rolling Hills. She was very excited to use her new Hello Kitty lunch box from her California cousins! They are learning the color red and all the kids were asked to wear red. Initially, she wasn't very excited about her outfit since it wasn't a dress or pink.
