Worlds of Fun

Today, we took our Daddy to Worlds of Fun for a belated Father's Day family outing. This was a first for the kids, so we had to explore the new Planet Snoopy area and hit as many rides as possible! The kids can't wait to grow so they can ride even more of the "big" rides the next time we visit. Andy is big enough to ride on a few of the older, bigger rides, where he would alternate threatening to throw up on Scott to then proclaiming the ride his most favorite ever. Both Andy & Sam were so excited by everything that they managed to last all day, from the park's opening at 10 am until nearly 7:30 pm. 10 hours in an amusement park will wear anyone out, especially the parents!

T-Ball

Last night, Andy played in his first T-Ball game. He was pretty excited to finally play in his first game. The boys all hit and run the bases twice. Fortunately, the end of the game does not depend on outs, otherwise we would still be playing!

Marco Island, Florida

Last week, the Cooper kids experienced the ocean for the first time on our family vacation on Marco Island, Florida. We spent five days swimming, building sand castles, collecting sea shells and walking on the beach. Andy declared it his favorite beach EVER!

Sunday at The K

On Sunday, we took advantage of some free M&I tickets and took the kids to a Royals game. To sum it up, it was really hot and they lost to a really bad Twins team. On the bright side, Andy picked up a new Royals t-shirt, featuring his "favorite" guy, Alex Gordon (a fellow lefty!).
