Christmas Day

Christmas morning was as exciting and magical as ever for the kids.  Santa came through for both of the kids bringing them exactly what they wanted.  For Andy, that was a Messi jersey and for Sammy, an Anna dress.  After a lazy day playing with our new toys, we were treated to dinner at Grandma's.

Sugar Cookies for Santa

The morning of Christmas Eve, we made our traditional sugar cookies for Santa.  As always, we were generous with the frosting and sprinkles.

December 14th

Andy turned 9 today!  Grandma Sherry and Grandpa Neil were in town to celebrate.  The weather was in the 60's so we headed to the zoo.  It was a great day to see the new penguins.  The kids also scored a few new stuffed friends.

The strangest place we have ever seen Santa

Gingerbread Houses at the Milroy's

Once again, we joined the Milroy and McKee families for our annual gingerbread house decorating party.  We started our tradition 4 years ago when the boys were 5 and the little ones were too young to participate.  In the beginning, the attention spans were short and more candy went in their mouths than on the houses.  Now, all 6 of them get their own house and are very focused and meticulous with their own unique style.

A Visit with Santa!

At the beginning of the month, we went to see Santa at church.  While we were there, we made food for the reindeer and sent letters to the North Pole.  According to Santa, both kids are on the "Nice List".
