Easter Egg Hunt

On Saturday, Andy and I went Easter egg hunting at the Annual MOYC (Mother's of Young Childrean) Easter Egg Hunt.

Andy is ready to go!

Andy and his friend Sofia are comparing their loot.

Lots of candy and we had to eat it all!

Sharing his stickers with his little sister since she was napping during the hunt

Baby Yoga

Sammy thinks it's time to start crawling. I disagree! She's pretty good at scooting herself backwards across the room, but hasn't figured out how to go forward yet. Sometimes she can scoot herself in the direction she wants to go, but most of the time she ends up scooting herself under the couch or bed and gets stuck.

Sunday in the Snow

It warmed up on Sunday, allowing Andy to get outside and play. A yard full of snow is way better than a sandbox. He spent hours digging with his trucks. Twenty-four hours later, it was all gone, including our snowman, Ned.

The Best Snowman Snow Ever!

It rained for 3 hours before it changed over to snow. I think there's around 5 inches so far and it's still snowing. The wet snow makes it hard to shovel, but great for snowmen and igloos (or eggloo as Andy calls it). The Bradford Pears that were in full bloom are now encased in ice and snow and hanging very low to the ground. I just hope they don't break and fall on the house tonight.

What a Difference a Week Makes!

Last weekend we were playing at the park with temps in the 60's. This weekend we are stuck inside with snow coming down!

Late Entry and Misc. pics

On Feb. 28th, we had 5 inches of snow. This was the best snow fall we have had all year. We took advantage of the day with some sledding and snowman building with our friends, Sofia and Josh.

Sammy pictures I couldn't resist posting:

7 Months Old!

Sammy is 7 months old today. She is a very quiet baby! I guess she figures Andy makes enough noise for both of them. She will let you know, though, when it's time to eat. She LOVES solid foods. She is quickly making her way through the first foods and loves every one of them. She sits in her booster waiting with her mouth wide open. She barely swallows before her mouth is open for more. She loves her food so much that she is starting to refuse her bottles:(.

Sammy has also started (consistently) sleeping through the night. We had a small set back with her recent ear infection. But, now she is back on track.

She is getting better and better at sitting up. She can almost make it around the block sitting in the wagon with Andy. But Andy inisists on so many stops and side trips that she still gets tired towards the end.
